Hi guys,
As you know, we will soon start doing tier VI raids, so I thought we could have a thread where we can share our experiences in the sixth tier of the Raid.
I encourage you to share with the other members of our guild your detailed line-up, your strategy (retreat, attack sequence, etc.) and the results you achieved (dmg). This way we could
create a common repertoire of experience, find out what worked for our guildmates and what didn't work and incrementally perfect our art of war.

In Phase 1, my "best" lineup was Phasma (L) Lumi ST Han IG86 Magmatrooper
Nothing for synergy really, just highest power characters. Averaged 30-40k
2nd lineup averaging close in dmg was
QGJ (L) Koth JC Asohka RG

Phase one: HK lead IG86 IG88 IG100 Jawa Engineer
avg dmg 100k depending on the counterattack. Start of fight, I always take him out first, even if he isn't taunting. The other one it doesn't matter if he taunts, I kill him quick enough, but at least he's not damaging me every time I attack with 2 bleeds on top of it. My first team has no buff removal, no debuff cleanse, or tm manipulation other than Jawa Engineer.
Second line up is a protect the leia Lumi lead Old Daka Leia Cad Bane Rex
Little bit more survivability with this one but rex gets two hit pretty much so I rely on daka early to revive him because he will die without death mark on him.

So far, the best lineup I have for phase 1 AND 2 is
Phasma (L) 5's Lumi Yoda QGJ
It's obviously not a high dps squad, but a high durability squad. So with that team I'm looking to kill the guards then attack the captain. 5 is the most important toon in this strategy, and it is critical that you omega his primary. His turn meter reduction, complemented by phasma's TM reduction will offer your 2 attacks before they take one and in the case of 5's 4..! With fives, I only use his secondary when offense up isn't on, it doesn't make a big difference though. For Phasma, it's vital to use the 3rd skill (TM reduction) before the secondary (advantage), it'll give you ultimately one more attack. With yoda you will grind their health while focusing on keeping his evading buff up and distributing it when the two guards just respawned. Keep his secondary and third attack for the guard with retribution. If you manage to "steal" his retribution, distribute it. Use QGJ on the guard exclusively. Do not use his third skill unless the captain is alone and has a buff or on the guard with his retribution on, don't forget his primary gives him a 20% TM bump.

Greetings fellow Mercenaries,
I used the same group as I have in tier 5.
Phasma (L) QGJ Yoda 5555's ST-Han
I focused down the guards as others have, then I focused on the main pig using TM reduction and speed down when I could. Yoda's third ability can reduce it and so can QGJ with his basic if you have it Omega'd, I had also just Omega'd 5555's basic as well to get some extra attacks on the pig. I go out of my way to try to escape with at least 2 toons on my first squad because I have about 13 guys able to participate and I want to have a full 5 man squad for my third attempt each day.
BIG PRO TIP!!!! Retreat is your friend! it works just like Galactic war and can save you from a bad luck rounds that should normally go better. So if you miss a key attack or have bad luck with the death mark just retreat and do it again!
With the above squad and tactics I averaged about 250k. Once I have Teebo and Chirpa I will be using a squad consisting o them, with Teebo lead, Chirpa, Phasma, 5555's, and QGJ. Chirpa has an ability that calls an ewok and random ally to assist, this means if Teebo is in stealth he will always be called to have a chance at TM reduction, with luck QGJ will be called as well for a double whammy, I could swap Phasma for yoda to have another TM reduction ability or IG-86 for another assist attack increasing TM reduction basics being used. If it has not been made clear yet, Turn Meter Reduction is the Key tactic in all levels of raid in all phases.

Hi guys,
Thanks Guttz for the advice on retreating, I didn't know it was possible! It really helped me out in the last two days!
Also, I tried something today... When my second squad was defeated, I realized that the Rancor's next attack would be eating one of my character because the refresh just arrived at 0. So instead of sending right away my third squad right away, I used Datcha (7 star but no gear and no lvl) as canon fodder, I sent him alone in a party and as predicted, he was eaten right away, allowing me to have 6 turns without the fear of getting one of my toons killed instantly. I rather loose one complete turn then loose a member on one of my high-synergy squad.
Another tool in the toolbox...
