I thought I'd share how I beat this event. Basically 1 word: ackbar.
Ackbar's leader ability means every non-attack skill - including, and this is important, the event skill that grants counter, healing, and attack up - will call a Rebel for assist.
You'll need 1 more rebel ideally instead of just ackbar + clones so that ackbars non attacks will call assists. I have several, but i like Han because when he taunts he grants a lot of turn meter and he can protect anybody who needs health.
General strats:
Kill magma troopers asap
Counter frequently, since with ackbar it calls an assist and doesn't waste turns
If Han is taunting, don't counter with others since the enemy will only hit Han. Exception: your weakest 2 characters may be better off countering so that someone stronger will attack on the assist
Use Ackbar's tactical genius wisely - it heals. Normally I don't care since I just want the double strike, but healing is tough with rebels and clones so for this event, I often use it for that.
Against Vader, don't taunt. You want him to aoe everyone so ackbar can clear the DoTs for huge heals
Most important strat: on the last round, burn the RG's to yellow health asap so they don't stun. Taunt with Han so they hit him a zillion times and give you fast turn meter. If you can, put slow on Palatine (with 5's for example).
